From Group Presentations to Final Project

Throughout the program, we completed eight group presentations that simulated real-world business scenarios. Each presentation was a new challenge, requiring us to think critically about strategy, market needs, and brand identity. These presentations built up to our final project: creating a business from scratch. We were tasked with applying everything we had learned—from ideation and financial planning to designing a logo and slogan—to bring our concept to life.

Our Business Idea: A Sports Application with Multiple Services

My group of three chose to create a sports application, designed to cater to a wide range of sports-related needs. Our app concept included services such as booking training sessions, connecting users with local sports leagues, providing fitness tracking, and offering personalized coaching tips. We developed a logo and slogan to capture the essence of our brand and make it memorable for our intended audience.

The Final Pitch Presentation

On the last day, we had the chance to present our business pitch to our professor, Karl Roos, and a panel of five experienced judges. This was a defining moment, allowing us to showcase our hard work and receive valuable feedback from industry experts. Standing in front of the judges, explaining our vision, and answering their questions was both challenging and incredibly rewarding. The insights we received during the Q&A session gave us a realistic perspective on what it takes to make a business idea viable.
